1607 cc is commonly gotten from A15 blocks by a combination of 79mm bore and 88.5 mm stroke

I thought that somewhere around this is the max (from wiki), but thought I have seen up to 1670cc (could be wrong though)

Plus I think the airbrushing looks like poo...

Its a Datsun Thats its positive. But otherwise you cant polish a turd. because thats what it looks like. Overkill but a respray would fix all that. Not sure on the 2 Litre bore would think it must be stroked if possible Larger crank grinded to suit. Though no expert.

People throw words that sound impressive around to generate interest from ather tools like himself. He may be under advisement from a mate that the enging is a 2L coz his mate at the pub whos an expert told him.

I see it all the time with 'my engine is bored and stroked' all because he had a set of pistons and a crank grind.

Asuming max practical bore = 80mm, 2L would require 99mm Stroke (A15 = 82mm).

I'm just a little sceptical but maybe with a custom crank, short rods and not too many rpm.

to get 2 ltrs from A-series engine you are talking 91mm bore [for A14 crank] and 88mm bore [for A15 crank] This guy has made no mention of stroke what so ever. With those huge bores I would think that the steel between the cylinders would be paper thin.
I find it very hard to believe.

1608cc is about the limit.even then I would use it on the track only. I guess it is possible to squeeze in an E16 crank, but you would have pretty serious angles going on with con rods.
