A place where you can share the comments and gestures you get from other people whilst out on the road in your Datto!
so far i have had to people offer me money, one guy said he give me 22grand for the ute LOL, but hey i was in burnside when he said it, rich villie
and had lots of thumbs up,

someone's been on datnet  I get a lot of old dudes talking about the 120Y they (or more often their wife  ) used to have, how they are such a good car etc. Plus pointing/"do a skid!" from kids on the footpath.

My comment Was when i bought the 1200 sedan. My girlfriend looked at it and looked at me and said. Will you actually fit in that thing. ?( I was aghast she called it a thing) I'm just shy of 6 feet and all arms and legs mind you.

I still to this day get asked if i want to sell my ute! i get at least one a week or so, i always say no of course! everyone who asks me says that they love the little datos and they can't find one, i direct them to this site and ebay.

I've had a few offers when filling up at the petrol station which I've all declined... so far.
I was meeting Tommy at a petrol station to get some parts off him and we got bailed up by an older guy that we couldn't get away from. Going on about his old 180bs etc etc.
But even for an 'old' car there's still a big cult following, it's really good to be a part of it

I consistently get asked if my car is an escort... I mean please  They must be ford owners with wishful thinking i reckon and also the fact that not many people have seen a two door. Adam.

I riped a lancer once, And a guy that was behine us in some work truck pulled up next to me and thought it was halarious.
And back when I had my ute 4 drunk Wogy fellas pick my and the ute up off the ground down chapplle street.... Nice fellas, gave me some beer's
and had tones off offers for bothe the ute and sedan..

my mate beat a hotted up Mitsubishi Mirage in a bucket of crap 180b,should of seen the guys face!!! priceless! then when we pulled up at the lights he was like "wtf is in that thing" we replied "dirty old near dead L18"
