Good stuff Geoff.

Two doors are great.

1000's are expensive when they are at this stage, seats are so hard to find and when you do find some they need upholstering. At least you'd know they last another few decades if you did go through with a complete new upholstery.

Good work on the paint job.

I think you should PM a guy called andy-roo (adelaide) he has just wrecked out a four door and he may still have the loom.

I just love that blue. It is so perfect for the 1k. Yeah I think I am decided on my colour now. The original baby blue is the winner.

thanks for the comments and the info the color i used isn't quit original its a bit darker, havent had much time to do much on her this week as ive been busy with fibreglass stuff ....Also would it be wort making a mould for the 1000 sun viser.......still cjhasing panel I guess good things come to those who wait .......

What Engine and drive train set up are you going to use? are you going to just leave the 120y engine and gearbox in it? or update to A14-A15?

cheers I was a bit of a cheep job I used a acrylic primer/filler gave it a rub down with 600 then 800 > masked her up again and gave her a 3 coats of 2pak I used paint called debeir with a fast hardner and a standard thinners .
its got a bit of dust in it but i did paint it in a fibreglass factory all up 3 litres of paint and other bits and pieces cost me about $400 so i cant complain just a bit of a rub and a buff and all should be good........
