Hopefully soon I'll be getting a run of datsun ID plates made as almost exact copies of originals except for engine and power figures.

Example of the plates I'm referring to

E.g.

Will have a plate that has b110 and A15 engine number and power figures, also one with ca18 etc.

Looking for some feedback on what ones ppl would like to see get made. Also a show of hands on who would be interested in one?

They will be lazer etched onto aluminium with holes already drilled.

cheers

This is a very nice idea. Would look really cool in cars that run CA18's or even SR engines. It would be as if it came like that from the factory.

Hey Guys, thanks for the feedback. Looking at having them done sometime in the next 6 weeks.

Price wise, not final as pricing isn't confirmed, but probably around $35-40 + a few bucks shipping which I think is reasonable if the quality is good.

Not wanting to hijack the thread, but in a similar vein I have a custom made Datsun "A" stamp, it is an exact replica of the "A" used on A series engines, very useful for restamping blocks that otherwise might give grief at registration time.
Please PM if interested.

Would you be etching all the numbers in (ie would we have to supply you with the chassis and engine number)?

I'd certainly be interested in one if it could be etched with my specific engine number.

Any update on this?
