Has anyone had any luck in using some of the
modern small windscreen wiper motors from another
make of car on a datsun?
I saw some modern motors and they are so tiny.

Being trying to modernise all my engine bay bits
with better smaller modern ones.

To do list:

smaller WW motor - anyone know?

Alternator with inbuilt regulator and fan - in process
(mitsubishi alternator with modified late a12a bracket)

Water bottle and pump - almost done
(radiator reservoir bottle from suzuki hatch with pump from 1983 skyline
and cap with suction hose provision from Daewoo crap.mobile)

electronic ignition -done
(84 pulsar with A series cog. black coil pack - Bosch 723)

Are 1k wiper motors supposed to have an auto-return for the blade positions?
Getting pretty good at timing the off switch on my wipers...hit it too early or too late and the fender mirrors are obscured :/
I'm sure its just a matter of installing a relay or something...

Is that why that B110 race cam video had them upright?

Looking at modern car ones make our b10 ones ugly and monstrous.
Not to mention so slow they are useless.

Tell me about it Levey, the only disgrace the datsuns have apart
from some of the owners :)

Wurzel,
The Roo bag is Rooted with holes bigger than my tennis long johns
and could wipe the rain better with them by sticking my arm out the
quarter window and doing a Danielsan.

You don't have to wipe once you hit 120kph.

I know you don't need one D, but since you have been looking at many modern engine bays. Do you know of a small carbon canister?

You cant replace roo bags?
woulda thought a modern washer bottle would look worse than a Roo bag,

maybe you could adapt a camelbak for a retro-futuristic look :)
