These sized carbs are very sought after in Brindarella forums (I think it is) and Ozdat.
The engine capacities on those site require 45s as a minimum.

The first offer of $800 seemed about on the money

They aren't rebuilt... just cleaned
They don't come with ramtubes or socks
And they don't come with usable jets
Your not sure if your including the linkages
You've not shown recent pics
You don't mention if they come with manifold and if it does... to suit what ?

I wouldn't be going as high as the first offer under those circumstances
But I'm not offering to buy them either

Sorry been busy doing other crap lately.

Re-build kits are on the way.

1) They are cleaned and will be freshly rebuilt. Comprehensive rebuild-kit installed.

2) No they do not come with useable jets, make an offer if you want the carbs without the jets, otherwise, use your initiative and sell them off when you receive the carbs.

3) Linkages? unsure still- lent them to Whitesedan and he is busy racing so I will wait until he has a replacement for them then they will be included, that will be negotiated later.

4) Big-bastard hand made Velocity Stacks will be included (sad to part with these puppies). Socks? Go buy some direct from unifilter.

5) Recent picture attached of them about to go for a final round of cleaning.

6) Comes with a manifold?.......Get your own damn manifold!

Thanks for the help Neil, I'm advertising for two carbs, velocity stacks and maybe the linkages depending. You folk can get all caught up in the detail yourselves.

Looking to sell in a couple of weeks or so, give people time to rustle up some cash.

PMs Replied to, just a little more info on the carbs;

One carburettor has a 40DCOE top plate but it measures 45mm so it has either has a replacement cover plate or it has been bored out. I had a look at the bore and I can't see any obvious bore machine markings so I'm assuming the cover plate has been replaced with an available 40DCOE one.

Linkage setup is a brand new top mount Sytec unit, made in the UK.

FINALLY finished. Throttle valves were left out to let some light through the barrels for some pictures. Email for more detailed pictures.

Old school original MAGARD throttle setup included. One of the most regretful sales I've made...
