If your motor goes forward so does everything else eg gearbox, mounts for gearbox and so on...
I know I'm only some guy on the interwebs but no booster would be my fix.

yeh i know all that comes forward with it ,
but i dont see why it has to come forward , when the maddat one is further back then mine:S
just going to tighten to booster so its not crooked , prob block the bleeder nipples and bleed it out the bottom ,
and work out a way to move the motor across.
will no booster still pull up stanza struts and brakes with girlock calipers , and a r31 disk rear diff ?

im new to everything brake wise , im only 18.
if i take off the black part of the whole thing and just leave the brake and clutch master cylinders. then my brakes will still work. why is the booster recomended then
i just want this car to pull up , no point having power and not being safe.

The motor looks a little to upright to me? Kind of hard to tell from the pics but that'd kick the intake over closer to the Brakes.
Is it a Mad dat crossmember or has he made it?
The bowl of the sump should be level with the ground if You look at the pressed steel part of the sump the vertical section is longer on one side to the other.
If its all level and square then its got me beat!

you payed the guy 4 grand to put the engine in? and his solution to the manifold being close to the booster is to move the engine, that already will make the car front heavy, even furth forward...yeah he sounds like a genious
for 4 grand i would have the engine glued to the firewall but magically still have lots of room around it
or just have bought the maddat crossmember and not payed someone to make one

i ran no booster with hilux 4 piston fronts and r31 rears from a 7/8th master...pulled up fine. sure its easier to stop it with a booster now as you only have to use your small toe to press the brake pedal rather than your whole foot

4 GRAND!!! Damn!!

If you want a booster that bad why dont you remote mount one???
Seriously, Do your research first and start cutting later!! Doing conversions are easy when you spend the time, have patience and ask the right questions from people who know.

Nick_m is spot on the money, the bottom of the sump should be level... therefore the motor on a tilt to the left... which will give you clearance!!!
