Theres no reason the stock a arm suspension should be removed for struts.
The coilover setup was to remove weight of the heavy front leaf springs
and to have more adjust-ability.

The a10 can be quite tough if you did a Topgear drawthrough snail and SU
and stay around 10/12psi with water injection

1K you know you want one (or 2 or more!)
Also who doesnt want the bubble wrap on the guards!!! :))

Could you actually get that low without removing the transverse leaf? Looks like it'd be close

W, I think you can go that low with stock spring setup
but you might have to reset the springs.

Thats light considering the amount of mods that thing has
eg. torana front end and full space frame cage.

It would be nice to know the weight of a modern alloy HR15/16 compared
to an A15 as a suzuki g16 is about 20kg lighter than an A15.

Yes about 800 with driver
Cause I'm a 40 odd year old man with everything bought and paid for
Remember never leave home without your spare tyre

And yes it was an A powered car with Celica box and alloy centre 1000 diff (which I broke regularly)

Some pics of the car/chassis are here

I never put it on the scales without the body

But it was just a guttered shell...I'd say 100kg or so difference
But thats just a guess
It did have a glass screen
Fibreglass boot, bonnet, bumpers and front end though

Weight distribution with me in the car was equal left/right due to placement of things... and actually rear heavy by 20 or so kg
We were going to move the motor forward a couple of inches but I sold the car before that happened
