This build thread is less about bright, shiney, expensive builds but rather something rough and fockin' cool. Leave the peeled paint, leave the rust, leave the spider. I have all sorts of bizarre Worl War II Japanese stuff that will be going into the build for a little extra somethin'.

As soon as we fix our big lathe I'm widening some wheels, aiming for 13x8 or 13x10.

She has the cancer real bad Mik, rust in the rails, pans, cross rails etc etc. Will drive it while I finish the other cars and then have a look at making one out of the two GB122's. I tried to buy it six years ago but the owner wanted too much- now it's rooted.

Japanese Machine Gun, World War II - I am told this is off a Mitsubishi Zero (fighter). Going to mount this in the tray.

Great ideas there for a cruiser, the spider makes a good deterrent :)
Always wanted the best wheelbase in old lightweight datsuns but be weary of turning too hard! love the rules of cars there a bit like a Mad Max flick. I reckon some good Jap war zombike movies could be made there the trolley dude can be your side kick.
