I'm on the hunt for a twin choke cable to suit twin SU's/Hitachis, like the GX5's and I think all other twin carb Dattos (eg 510SSS, 180B SSS, 240Z, 260Z, SP311) had as well. My preference is for an original click-type mechanism, but it's not the end of the world if it's not.

I know they're available new from the US, but before I have to fork out US$165+, I'm hoping someone here has one in good condition that they'd be willing to part with...?

Funnily enough, I actually visited Minicraft and bought a single cable to suit an MGB for $25 to tide me over. I figured that choking at least one will get the car running when cold.

Buzbox, I've messaged a guy on ozdat who has one in Perth, but in case that falls over, what would you take for yours?

I've seen BPro's one; new one for USD$144 shipped these days.

The single cable works surprisingly well, but if a 2nd hand one pops up for a reasonable price I'll take it.

I went to a motorbike wreckers and bought a doodad that fits on the end of a single cable and enables you to join two cables on to it. So you end up with a "Y shaped" cable - single at the knob end and double at the carbie(s). I seem to recall paying about $25 for the doodad and two shortish cables that came out the carbie end. You can use a standard datsun single cable inside the cabin and it will look right.

BProjects dropped their price to USD$120, so I bit the bullet and bought one. Thanks to all who helped!
