Hey guys,

I have a set of KANGOL seat belts in the sedan. these are period correct, and are merely a lift clasp type belt.

Can you get registration with these belts? I think you should be able to as they were approved in the day.. whether or not they are still safe is debatable I suppose.

Im considering installing new belts with a drop loop for safety.

Who still uses these belts?

Cheers

Ed

They should be fine.
I actually really like them. (If they're the same ones I'm thinking of)
They undo no worries when they're under tension. I was upside down in a car once, gave the handle a flick, and was out in a flash.

Yep theyre just standard belts.

they are a black plastic flap which the metal buckle (hook) latches onto.

Can post a pic later... I think I'll use them, I tried one out yesterday and it was just a simple flick as you guys said and it was off.

Cheers
