One on the left is my favorite so far but the one on the right can be painted on both outer halves in nissan blue on one and the other red so that would also look good. Your opinion left or right?

I'm with the one on the left, But the one on the right has its appeal as well maybe the smoother more simple lines would look better in the engine bay...

I like them both but would lean towards the one on the left if I had to choose. It looks a little more old school (like the finned rocker covers back in the day) , but it's lines are also reminiscent of the finned factory CA cover as well.

Would like to see what they look like with the leads running through them...may find the Datsun logo gets somewhat obscured.

Cool work D, i think the left one, once in reality would look good.

Shifty, this is an alternative for those like myself who dont particularly find the ca engine the prettiest engine around haha ;P each to their own though! :)
plus i was talking to D about the option of possibly disguising the ca engine even to the point that it looks like an engine from 60s or A and L series era

Second thoughts i think once in the engine bay with the s/leads coming out the holes the right cover will work by not looking quite as busy as the left one... And the left one might be more elongated looking up against the rest of the bald rocker cover... Something to think about?

Good points there guys, Im leaning now to the right as the left would need matching twin set of lines machined onto the top of the smoothed out rockers.
Leads coming out the top look good like Cosworth and Lotus Twinnies.
