Hey guys,
VK commodore efi ran the sensor bolted to the back of the head, where the sensor ran through a hole in the bellhousing onto the teeth of the flex plate. Has anyone considered this? I cant remember if it had another pickup for no. 1 cylinder, but I know it had an empty distributor, just a cap and rotor purely for distribution of the spark so the sensor was for injection timing and ignition coil. It ran a standard coil from memory.

I have another idea for those who are keen but dont have the skills or tools to proceed. I can do multiples of each of the stages and send them out in stages. Eg: Week 1, TB's and adaptor plates modified ready to bolt on. Week 2, modified distributors ready to plug in. Week 3, Turbo manifolds Etc. I'll do the wiring looms aswell. You will have to find your own GTR turbo. Occationally I will need something sent to me, Like a distributor or inlet manifold, for changeover or modification.

Can only do about 5 sets though.

I'll just do them at the same time as the build thread.

Any takers?

I'll be more than fair with charging for work done. It should be a bolt on kit when finished.

I'll get five cardboard boxes big enough to fit the whole kit in and put owners names, Stage cost and money paid on the top of each one.

It will cost a little more than if you did it yourself but will save all the running around collecting parts and a heap of time.

If you're at all time poor that will be a bargain! It always takes 2-10 times longer than you think to do things....

Oh so what was the deal with the inlet manifold. Was it too restrictive? I was thinking of getting my mate to make a new one

Na, no probs with the inlet manifold. It just needs to be opened up where the TB bolts on and the injector hole drilled.

I do have a couple here, but would need a couple sent to me to get 5 kits made.

Sorry to post whore again but this is also applicable to using a e15et motor. The dizzy was always the main problem but mount a trigger for a mega whatever :p and it makes it a very cheap option also.

I might be able to help with a round port manifold, I'll check my hoard.
