Matt, Good work on the manifold! I do think the 2 injector arrangment you have made will work well. The injectors are pointing toward the ports and the injector size can be halved compared to a single. This should also help as the droplet sized will be smaller, aiding vapourization.

Yes Simon they were & are turbocharged 1.4 and 1.5 litre engines
one guy old-13h on Ausrotary got 127hp atw using it and
highly recommended it to me as well as another member who
schooled me on the basics using it and the first thing is
use an aftermarket ecu not the delco reprogrammed from a
camira which was my motivation being a silly bitsa guy.

And it's the easiest way to inject a Caeby engine.

That's what I use on my car.
Let me know if you have any questions,I can tell you what ever you need to know as I have done the reserch,used it and runs it all the time.

Here's some pix.

Just a thought, if you're not using the intercooler you could move the injector upstream of the turbo. The fast spinny bit would make a good atomiser I reckon.

I actually don't mind that idea! I think it would work well. The heat in the charge would have more time to do its thing.

I was happy with the unleaded setup. It would only be to see how much it could make still using the Hyundai TB and standard manifold.

Might try that tomorrow before I pull the engine off the stand.

This TBI is a little more common than the Starion and proven turbo from factory with a hat.

I also wondered how an SPI efi setup would go feeding a draw through setup.

thats a mazda fe turbo DD more common than starion turbo

edit: DD the ford cfi has successfully been used on small turbo L4s
if you look at my earlier posts.

also another interesting read is the Polaris equipped CFI
run up to 18psi cfi boost but 2 stroke is another ball game

Simon PM me an address and I can send you this manifold to play with it. I am not going to use it. Gotta machine my mani's in the next couple weeks.

Rare as kitten's eggs here
* FET 1986-1987 2 liter 626/929 "Magnum Turbo"
* F2T 1988-1999 2.2 liter 626/MX-6

The Ford central fuel injection throttle body is extremely common here, it looks like Holley 2-BBL and ran very smooth. The Falcon throttle body you posted a photo of uses the Weber 32/36 pattern so would seem to be a better candidate for a 4-cylinder, but since it ran on 3.9 liter engine wouldn't it be too big for a 1.2 liter? Sure you can get smaller injectors, but then the price goes up

Just gave it another run with the large injector pre the turbo compressor.

E85, 17.5Psi 93Kw 165Nm.

Ill try the injector back in the manifold and intercool it.

Might get 100Kw out of a standard A12 long motor yet!??

It'll take me an hour or so to set it up again, but ill report back soon.
