any suggestions on building custom spark plug wires for EDIS?

The boot for a stock Datsun distributor is a LOT smaller than the one for an EDIS ignition module. I'm thinking about a good way to set this up. Maybe buy a set of Ford ignition wires, cut them down, and crimp on spark plug ends? Maybe just get plugs from like a 90's Fiesta? Anyone done this and have suggestions for what worked well?

Couple of choices

* Using Ford EDIS 4-cyl coil pack, use 1990 Escort plug wires
* Use two Buick 3800 coil packs

My setup with the Escort wires:

Those plug wires look like a Ford item but a bit shorter than the Escort ones, where the coil was on the end of the cylinder head

That is one fine looking build. Mine will never be that sorted looking.

I believe they mounted the coil pack right over the distributor hole. I've seen several EDIS builds that did that

I'd like to mount the edis pack on the firewall. The reason is because I'd like to put a supercharger roughly where the distributor is now. However, there's a dipstick in the way and I haven't yet figured out how to deal with that. But like there is just no way there's room for a supercharger on the intake side.

dipstick near the firewall. is this a 1200?

My EDIS plug wires were long enough to mount the coil pack under the battery ...
