Looked in wiki doesn't say its doable, but wondering if anyone has done or knows if i can put an A15 crank in a late 120y A12 motor my A15 was bought seized but have just discovered how seized it is. 2 pistons are fused to the bores with rust. Motor sat for way to long.

Doubt theres enough meat between cylinders one and 2 (mainly) for that. 40 thou may be enough to clean it up ay

I have only fitted an A14 crank into a 1200 block ,makes 1289cc and went quick.the A15 crank is much longer and the pistons would stick out the top too far..

I looked at this but will need a10 conrods, custom sump, milled pistons,
clearanced block walls and rod stroke ratio will be 1.48 to low really
but same as the qr25de lots of torque and little up high.

i dont really know about rod/stroke ratio. i thought the general rule of thumb is "no replacement for displacement".

care to enlighten me about the advantage/disadvantage of low rod/stroke ratio?

thanks in advance.

try online theres heaps on it and good reading
other issue is clearance or lack of it, meaning
crank counterweights need to be chopped off at
strategic points and inner block walls clearanced
which weakens it. The A14 is the best and then
boring to 78mm. 77x78 cant go wrong.
