Tail lights, tail lamps, or as Nissan calls them "rear combination lamps", combines the running lights, brake lamps (stop lights) and turn-signal lamps (blinkers)

Pickup

Datsun 1200 (Pickup) has three-segment rear lamps:

• Bottom section is clear for backup lights
• Middle section is red for running lights
• Top section is for turn signals: Red for older ones, Yellow or newer models. Aftermarket clear lenses are available.

The lens frames were offered in various styles:

• 
• 1971-1977: were originally silver
• 
• 1978-1989: changed to black
• 
• 1989-up: changed to x?
