Datsun 1200 Sedans were fitted with a stainless metal grille. 1200 Pickups from 1971-1977 use this too. The 1972 JDM facelift introduced a new grille, but it too was different from the plastic Coupe grille.

Fitting to Others

Fitting Sedan grille is done in Japan to nearly all Datsun 1200 trucks (change from Coupe-type grille to Sedan grille). Also you can fit it to a Coupe.

Fit one L-shaped bracket to center top of front body. The top of bracket should be 1/8" from top of ledge.
Fit two thin brackets to back of sedan grille
Drill four holes in radiator support to correspond to the holes in the sheet bracket
- Drill them 20mm to the side of the headlight rim screw holes
Screw sheet loops to front of car
Screw grille to sheet loop ends

Fit the headlight Rims (easiest to do with grille off car)

coupe and late ute are missing the outer bracket:
All core supports have the inner two eyebrow mount holes, though you may need to add the little square screw hole wedgies:
