The front wheel hub contains the Wheel bearings. The brake rotor bolts to the hub on disc brake models.

Overview
drum hub vs. disk hub - The drum hub is shorter, so that after the drum is placed over it, the track exactly matches the disc version.
Drum
The brake rotor bolts to the back of the hub (see Replacing Rotors)
hub slips onto spindle (which is on the bottom of the strut)

These use the large bearings, and fit on the small spindles (early 1200 drum struts or disc struts). They have 10mm less track than the disc hubs (5mm per side).

Will bolt to the early drum brake spindles & struts, but will increase track ~10 mm.
A08 Hubs
1976-up Datsun 1200 hub
A08 hubs use 510-style bearings -- #210 (outer) and #A08 (inner). They are smaller O.D. than B110 bearings, but fit on larger spindles.
