1 & 2 - found at pick n payless in blacktown, this unit, once shortened will glide onto my 24 tooth, 2cm wide 63a gearbox shaft. tailshaft is 138cm end to end.
3 - a bluebird gearbox mount I bought.. might be able to modify it to go in the 1200.. dunno. |

This is the engine I got the head and bits from. It has been rejuvenated and all new valves guides and seats fitted. The head was re tempered to T6 hardness before this work was done.
I still have to get some pistons and a few small bits but they will have to wait till the wallet recovers.

Here is the engine in the 510 as raced from the mid to late 90's. The car was unbeatable then and would give them a hurry up still I would think.
Out put was around the 250 hp. same as you would get out of a really good N/A SR with all the fruit.
The PB110 version had a different rocker cover and used mikuni 50's or mikuni flat slide fuel injection.

Just installed today...bloody hot outside it was 45 degrees celcius.
It was a good fit used some modified mounts but used the stock crossmember and uprights. went in no probs.

It was a good fit used some modified mounts but used the stock crossmember and uprights. went in no probs.
