 Re: Dimlight
is the injection manifold you made a while back going on this thing?
what turbo you got there?
what sort of power are you chasing?
which cars it going in?
is the car just a road car or is it destined for circuit work or something?

This is the engine that the injection manifold was built for, yes. However, bent axel bob has gotten me intrigued by LPG. I'm looking into that pooibility now.
I'm looking for very modest power. I don't expect over 120 horsepower. If even that much. I know, alot of work and money for not much. I don't pretend to make sense of it.
Finally, it is going in the white car with the two black stripes that can be seen on my website, www.dimlightracing.com to be a fun street toy.

 Re: Dimlight
what only 120 hp???
i dont belive it, i know you said you dont know but, why???
i was thinking this was gonna be the most serious turbo conversion done to a-series but an injected a-series with a few mods would make 120hp, im hoping that turbos gonna boost the torque figures quite a bit

if you do go lpg, wanna sell the inj. manifold?

Hey that looks like my Subaru IHI RHB-5 turbo! What's all that stuff on front of the turbo intake? Is that Centerforce clutch the "Stage 1" that is supposed to be 30% better than stock?

This picture is impressive.

Check out the LPG thing. LPG-powered engines run nice, they burn clean (no engine deposits) and can use very high compression ratio ... or high boost pressure

 Re: Dimlight
Hopefully I can remember all the questions.
1) The turbo is one from a twin turbo Mitsubishi 3000GT. I figured half of a 3 liter V6 is 1500cc and that is a couple hundred more than the bored A-12.
2)The stuff on the front of the turbo is the air filter mount and the PCV valve. I don't know if the PCV will work there but I thought it was beter than it seeing boost in the manifold.
3) As far as the low HP guess. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high. By estimating low, I won't be upset with a higher number.
4) Let me think about selling the injection manifold. It still needs some work.
I'm sure I missed something. If so, I'll be back.
