Well I dont know as yet as the car has not seen the race track for nearly two years . My guess is the lower the better. December at Bathurst will be a big test for the coupe as Ive made many changes all for the better I hope.

I'm having to make up an new dropped steering draglink to clear the sump...
Got any hints?

you'd want to add an extra skin of metal to the internal corners of where you've cut the 'u' out there (on the vertical front and rear of the crossmember) otherwise you run the risk of it cracking.

not sure the 120Y drag link will work. I reckon it will be too long.

Tsillay I thought it was clearing the sump bye around 3-4mm but when on full lock either way it hits the sump I will either lift the engine slightly or modify the sump.
Im unsure on the 120y draglink Ill let you know on that one as there is a 120Y at the fire station ready to be cut up im always getting buits and peices from them before they go to the scrap yard. They always let me know if any dattos have been donated

Pro240c I dont get exactly what you mean?? do you mean strengthen up the lower part thats been cut out?? where its thin at the bottom?? \____/ I can weld some 20x3mm plate behind should stop it from bending or cracking!!!
