ouch. I remember this.
What you cant see is the ring gear wrapped around the pedal box, the holes in the REAR firewall and the chunks missing outa Wayno's helmet.....

It also cut the brake lines and bent the steering, so our man was a passenger until it stopped itself....

Scatter shields people....

The overalls were a write off !!! My bellhousing is wrapped in kevlar and bonded on. It is hopefully bulletproof. The insides of the tunnel have 3mm thick Lexan sheet fitted as well. Lexan is used for glazing and is also bulletproof. As a result I feel I am pretty safe and the protection has weighed bugger all. Steel scatter sheilds work but are bloody heavy and we all know weight is the enemy.
