These are datsun works discs and calipers for sunny and stanza fitted to my sunny coupe. 261mm vented doisc so you can run 13" rims The braided brake hose is held by wire only while fitting my brake ducts

You have alloy hubs on that feral?
I wanted to get a set of alloy hubs for my 1000 so I could the maximum sized vented disks to suit my 13 inch wheels but Ive been told to stay away from alloy hubs cause they often crack. Then why so car makers like porsche and many others use them?? Ive seen plenty of cars at the wreckers with them so why wouldnt high grade billet alloy ones fare as well? should i use a different alloy grade or alloy compound?

These things are great, I had a set on My IPRA 1600 - sold in 2002. Exactly the same set-up.

The only trouble was finding pads and rebuild kits for them. In the end I took the Calliper to Race Brakes up here in Sudney who matched all the seals for me. For pads, I had decided to get some backing plates made, and was going to have new pad material bonded to them. I never got to that point though - Sold the car just prior to needing to replace them.

I ran 13" hotwire style rims, worked a treat! I was able to out brake most of my competition at the time.

They look like something other than alloy to me those hubs....more like cast or machined steel....I'd guess cast.

I will have soon the billet steel hubs for the 1000 to suit my conversions. They will accept the 260mm x 18mm KC laser turbo vented disc or the KC standard disc 238mm x 18mm. Depending on what caliper you use will determine whether it will fit under a 13".
I know the 238mm with KC caliper does....with my wheels anyway. 260mm...no way.
