Hilux Diff 4.1 LSD. 4 linked, watts linkage, coilover shocks and springs (bilsteins with 200lb springs, you can see them in the background) brakes are going to be S13. Its quite a trick setup for a watts linkage. |

Re: Pic of the rear set up It is being built by Mitchell Motorsport in Hamilton. They are a top-end race car fabricator who have produced a lot of series winning cars. They gave me a complete cost breakdown before the build and I'm really happy with their work so far.

Re: Pic of the rear set up its static but adjustable. it has washers that are toothed to grip the plate. i assume it works as I am yet to run the car but I have seen the same setup on drift cars, and racecars they have built so I have faith in it.

Re: Pic of the rear set up Ah sorry Cheater, I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is the car is back and painted inside, the diff has been stripped (after being shortened) and rebuilt with new bearings and seals and the head has been shimmed up so its all ready to go. The motor is finished (well all the work is done it just needs the head fitted to the short block) the turbo is built and it is all sealed up in oily rags and the car is in storage because I'm now in Germany and wont be back for a year... Once again the 1200 project goes on ice. Its been 5 years now so I'm not in any real hurry. Still I have recurring dreams about thrashing it so I'll have to finish it some time soonish.
