The ports have been blended in the chamber better and the chamber shape improved near the fire channel.
Valves are 80 lbs on the seats and 240 llbs at 0.470" lift (0.040 before coil bind at 0.511"). Chambers are 25cc neat to 0.1 cc accuracy.

Thats some awesome automotive engineering, im very impressed being i do basically the same thing only ondifferent machinery...

Hey Feral, do you run the top of your valves flush with the seat? It kind of looks like it from that angle...

I'm just starting a new FJ head at the mo, and looking for pointers...

That spark plug looks to be correctly indexed as well.
Very very nice.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but thats No. 3 cylinder & it's a head originally made for a 1200 engine.
The drilling for the early rocker oiling is clearly visible in the photo.
