Got some new plugs and leads, can get rid of those original copper leads. These will compliment the high output coil and electronic dizzy |

Re: Plugs and Leads The Irridums aren't all that costly. Somewhere in the $22 to $25 range should cover it. [each] I bought mine through Repco so they aren't hard to get either

Re: Plugs and Leads Sorry to hijack this post, but what are the benefits of iridium plugs over normal plugs?

Re: Plugs and Leads These things will fire at a lower voltage across a given gap at a given compression pressure, which means that the gap can be opened out a little without taxing the coil, & while they are diong all this, they will outlast $25 worth of regular plugs to boot. [Comparison is with both types of plugs in identical conditions]
They are not expensive, they are good VALUE, particularly in a high compression, high performance engine.

Re: Plugs and Leads Thanks. Sounds to me like a good investment, particularly in a daily driver.

Re: Plugs and Leads Yeah as Dodgeman said, They only cost me around $15, The manufacture also says that they are self cleaning, but whether this is propaganda or true is still debateable. But all and all its a good investment.
