Jeeze thats come up so nicley Dodgeman , if only there were some spare 1000's down south here!! In relation to the damage before..

It looks liike now there was nothing wrong with it!!
What are you doing for suspension? I was reading in the techsection about those fiberglass monoleaf springs, you going to opt for the original ones (they ok condition?) or fork about a bit more for these?
I am assuming that these springs are hard to come by and a bit costly yes?

Keep the updates coming, its looking tops!!

Dave

This is an original, one owner car with 42,018 miles on it [about 65,000k] All the suspension is in good shape & i will stick with that, although i will go through each piece separately & clean, paint etc. etc. I will look at the possibility of using teflon, [or similar] strips between the leaves & wraping the whole thing in shrink wrap.
If i can remove spring stiction, then it will ride like a coil sprung car. The rears will get a similar treatment.
When you get to my age, comfort becomes important too.
