The turbo is off a 20b rotary, no efi just a 175 stronberg.

Changing to intercooled into webber now.

Did you have the turbo carbon sealed? If not did the fuel erode the seals and make the turbo pass oil? What brand is the turbo? I have been led to belive that garett/Airesearch turbos don't need to be carbon sealed.

Hmmm. Wouldn't a 20B turbo be major overkill for an a12?

Hi a 20B runs twin turbos so this is only one of them.
A20b is rated at 2.6 L so half that is 1.3 so it works well on the a12.
It also had a carbon seal as standard thats why i used this turbo.

 Re: TURBO ENG A12
i think ull find a 20b is rated at 2 litres not 2.6, the rta rates rotaries at twice their displacement because they are so powerful for their size. alot of people are under a misconception that rotaries equal twice their rated output, but why would mazda call it a 20b if it was a 4litre motor..... saying that, i really like ur setup !!! nice and simple, do you have any pics of the complete engine ???
