1200 LCA Vs. Sunny LCA datrat_dave 2006/4/17 12:56 Tell a friend 4027 8 0.00 (0 votes)
Dattodevil is right on the money, the sunny LCA does gain about 15 - 18mm in length by the balljoint. Although it isnt easy to see here i dismantled both and came up with the same conclusion as him! I just wish the sunny LCA pictured had new balljoints like the 1200 LCA has... |

Re: 1200 LCA Vs. Sunny LCA And yes both bolt up to either car. No fussing or anything required, the datsun engineers were bloody smart plp. Thats why these cars are easy as to work on, its like lego on a bigger scale!
Ive noticed tho my trackwidth at the front is increased, will this change the characteristics much of handling? It would most likley stick out bout 30mm more than the rear, this is with 8mm spacers and 195/50 15" TRX rims.
I'll post a pic of what i mean tommrow
Cheers Dave

Re: 1200 LCA Vs. Sunny LCA UTE18L i need those spacers in there as the rims rub on the struts, ive got the wrong offset tyres for the rims so when i get that sorted out ill take out the spacers. Im wanting a bit of negative camber, just to see what it feels like and ive got many tyres to spare thats no hassel! It aint gona stay like this tho trust me...

Re: 1200 LCA Vs. Sunny LCA I think I'm running one stanza LCA and one 1200 one... Anyone got a pair of stanza LCAs they want to get rid of?

Re: 1200 LCA Vs. Sunny LCA thats a much cheaper alternative to adjustable strut tops for more negative camber but I am not sure if it would equate to too much negative camber, possibly could need adjustable strut tops to bring the camber back a tad?

Re: 1200 LCA Vs. Sunny LCA My friend Nathan was going to get some plans to make adjustable control arms out of 2 sets of standard ones. That's another step to - camber. But personally I'll have those and the tops in the end
