Picked up these 40mm DHLA Dellortos with a redline A15/14 manifold + linkages and sock filters/ramtubes all for $300. In pretty good nick, was jetted for a stock A15 and looks like new soft mounts installed recently.

Now ive just gota find some extractors that will fit (still on the hunt plp!) and figure out the fuel supply situation.
Do i need to run a fuel regulator or can i just get by with the electric fuel pump that the A12 had on it? Im guessing its the same PSI as a std A series pump...

Cheers
Dave

 Re: New toys
Cheers guys, i thought it was to good to be true but the previous owners a top bloke/member so yeah loves his dattos

My nice extractors (4-2-1 thick walled ones) that are in the sunny hit on inlet 1 and 4. The extractors that were in the ute are a bit to small for my liking and hit on 1 2 3 and 4 inlet! And the only ones that fit around the dellorto inlet manifold im pretty sure will hit on the idler arm as that is where the collector is (big and ugly welding, pretty rank extractors really!)

I rang feral errol the sarvo and im gona place an order with him, good quality and the knowledge that they will fit!

They are the rank ones, notice how the collector is real high up and bluky, the primaries are really short which is kinda usless i.e. not exactly a torquey set of extractors!

Their the nice ones in my sunny attached to another exhaust system

These are the Genie A12 ones out of the ute. in good nick too.

Anyone had any problems with their extractors hitting on the idler arm at all in their 1200's?

Any comments welcome
Cheers
DAve

yep, but nothing a hammer wont fix

The extractors I've got slope down rapidly from the exhaust ports, plenty of clearance... also tri-y thick-walled and for sale

My hi-tec's are about 10mm away from the idler & i think they hit when I go over big bumps cos there are marks on em..... havn't got the hammer on to it yet tho.
