Im sure alot of people know of this datsun or if you have not have certainly seen the pictures but i have come across its done by 09racing in japan and also news to me called a Sanitora truck in japan yet another name for our datsun

any how these boys at 09racing make the whole kits and awesome setups for our little datsun's would make for a nice little difference to your 1200 to give it the look of a 2000gt/kamerai c10/hakasuka skyline if it takes your interest i love the centre console and dash but thats my personal preference

Interior is very well done but the bonnet with extra little top side louvres is overdone the main large one if is nice but could be improved and made more authentic with the centre support extended back more, the second pic the rear scoop is too much but the chrome coated grille is be way better yet indicators are overdone daggy looking more could be done there. Tail-lights is a cop out, really needs something matching the front aggressive styling. A good effort no doubt but more can be done to make it more suited to the smaller bodied beauties that are the 1200 utes if going to these extremes.

Yes 09racing is a member of datsun1200.com. I think the kit itself is about $3800.00? Wonderful looking GB122.

'Hakosuka' ha-koh rather than ha-kah.

Hako = box. box-skyline. Or in this case hako-tora (box truck)

See Michi's build topic about his hakotora kit.

Also see his other posts
