This is exactly how it went..

I was going along a street headed towards my mates place..

Going along a street long and straight 50km/h zone there are houses either side of me. I heard a beep from 2 cars behind me, then i see a car coming out to pass me so i do the normal thing be a tosser and put my foot down he cuts in on me i jam the brakes on the car behind me goes around us two and i beep my horn at him. He stops his car i stop mine and he jumps out and heads towards me... well he is big bald and looks mad and crazy as fark !
Well im not in the mood to get beaten up so i put it in reverse and floor it..
He yells well ya better run u fark, So i put it back to first and try to go around him he runs for the car to kick it or get in front of it to stop me i think.. anyway im half up the foot path on the other side of the road and hit the side of him i think he was trying to kick my mirror or something..

Got to my mates place after and i have a huge chunk of skin on my gaurd...
So what you guys reckon ? I wish i got his rego number id dob him in though he probably got enough punishment from me

Had my mate been home i would of flipped him off and lead him around to my mates place then he would of not only got clipped at 30km/h but his head smashed in too.

But not im thinking if i was driving a datsun u probably would of killed him

Honestly, sounds like you two should be mates.Quote:

I think you would sound pretty foolish to the cops if you told them the story and also added the fact that you hit him with your car PLUS " im half up the foot path on the other side of the road"

I know what I reckon

either you are drunk, he has a extremely big car or it was a very narrow road.Quote:

But yet you ended halfway up the footpath on the otherside of the road?
Either way you caused it. Just think, if he's an idiot and in a rush, just let him overtake, instead of trying to race him and #### him up by blocking him. Sounds like he ####ed you up in the end because your worring about it.

Man I cant stop laughing.
First you tell us this story and ask what we reckon and I tell you and now you call me an idiot.
You werent trying to race him but;

I guess your like you said" a tosser"

You put yourself in that situation. Whats a bet that you didnt just beep your horn at him.
I would have put it in reverse or done a uturn, after all there were no other cars around since everyone was driving all over the road and footpath.

I hope people reply to this heaps so this stays on the front page so everyone can see what a tosser you are.
Man I need a Panadol I have a headache and my ribs are starting to hurt.

how about driving responsibly rather than treating it like some sort of game?

why not just let those idiots pass you? is that some sort of challenge to your manhood or something? grow up.

I think you're right - you should go to the cops. Turn yourself in. Quote:

reckless driving causing greivous bodily harm, hit and run/leaving the scene of an accident, and no doubt many other charges...

Reckless disregard for road rules is bad enough, but your complete disregard for this other person's life is simply beyond comprehension. And you still carry on like you'd do it again! At the very least, please learn from your mistakes...

You sound pretty shaken and I think you've had a good lesson about consequences and how quickly bad decisions can change a situation. You say you were driving legally at the beginning and then through the actions of another driver you sped up and then a whole lot of illegal things happened. Don't be so easily manipulated in the future and keep driving the Mazda for right now as the diminishing number of Datsuns don't need you behind their wheel just yet. I would be off to the police to have a chat before Mr Baldy gets to them first or finds you.

I know you probably aren't looking for any more "good advice", but this is a pretty serious incident. I don't know exactly what I'd do if I was in your shoes, but I too am leaning towards going to the cops. But I wasn't there to know how much responsibility you carry for this incident.

I know you and I don't live in America...but I like to think every driver on the road has a shotgun under their seat.

If someone cuts me off, or tries to race me..I smile nicely, maybe wave, and just stay cool about it. If they are doing unusual things on the road..just imagine what's going on in their brain..

You don't know that the other guy hasn't just been fired from work, his missus might have just left him, whatever, there's plenty of reasons why people might do stupid things on the road. This isn't a reason for you to follow suit.
