Hi all,
Was about to order one of these off ebay, seem to be around the $350 mark here is Oz with fuel rail.
Who has had experience with these in a turbo set up? They claim to be sealed shafts and all, anything to look out for?

I doubt there would be anyone here but few use quad or twin throttle body
turbo efi on their A series engines. Seems a single TB is easier.

Which ones were you looking at?

like stated before better for NA and also take in
that if you fork out for 2 + manifold + plenum + linkages
then Matt MD_machine on instaglam :) offers a billet setup
made by him in the USA for 750usd.

Thats is cheap for something original and with the attention
he gives each item with your choice of cnc tattoo/insignia.

I was planning on doing turbo and ITBs but the MSII ECU I have can't do it. I needed to use a mixed speed density/ alphaN (throttle position, engine speed) tuning method since the manifold vacuum is not useful above a certain throttle position with ITBs. AlphaN doesn't work with boost. If I could have an AlphaN region in the load table rather than a switch point line it may have been possible.

Short answer is check whatever ECU you're using can support ITBs and boost. The tuning may be a little tricky.

lucky Matt still does email unlike many businesses these days.

I prefer forums, private emailing (protonmail & tutanota) and blogs myself.
Strange that is considered oldschool nowdays vs criminal data stealing fakebook.
