Just wanted to know what exhaust system people are running to match the modifications on their A series.

I was planning on having an exhaust made up for my A12 which will shortly have high powered ignition, gx head, mild cam, single 32/36 dgav weber and 4-1 press bent extractors.
I wanted to have a dual 1.5 inch system made but was told that a single 2 inch system with a high flow muffler would be the best.
Your opinion and advice would be much appreciated.

I used to run a 2.5" single system on my 1000 coupe with A12
Racecar runs a 2.5" single also with a single muffler (A15)

I had a mate who used twin V8 mufflers on his gemi and it sounded like a beast, but it did have alot of work done to it.
Has any1 had any experience with fitting these or hotdogs to their system, what did it sound like?

I use 2.25 inch exhaust with a single muffler, although it is quite loud and sounds like a rotor

2.5" from the stock header all through with a flowmaster muffler. It's pretty loud when you're on it, coasting it's quiet. Can't talk on the phone while driving as it's very loud :)

Performs good. Needs a header ( but waiting to go turbo )

My stOCK a15 is running a 32/36 weber, pery 4-2-1 extractors and a 2 inch exhaust with a straught through resonator and the exhaust dumps under the LH rear door. Nice and loud and makes good flames on the limiter!

How have you got your rev limiter working?

Are they easy to source?

I got a incomplete system off a friend who bought it at Jaycar. Wait a tic, it's a shift light kit but if you combine it with the universal high output ignition kit they have it can be a flat shifter. But electronics seem to just confuse the circuts outta me so I haven't fixed it, or my coupe

ute had a 2 inch system, coupe has a 2.25 inch with 4 into 1 custom extractors and a tip.... 2 inch will be enough... 2.25 is loud (unwanted attention loud)

it is a speed technology limiter, it drops every second spark or so....a soft cut limiter.
