If you are running a blower with the carb[s] on the suction side, then you will NOT need a BOV as the boost is directly controled by the amount that the throttle plates are open, as these control the amount of air/fuel that goes into the blower.
When you close the throttle, almost no air is admitted to the blower & the cylinders will normaly consume all the boost pressure within two crankshaft revolutions & your manifold will read negative boost. [vacuum]
If the blower is of a positive displacement type, then you should get almost full boost within a couple of crankshaft revolutions after you snap the throttle open as the blower can now see an almost unrestricted supply of air/fuel mix, & as it is directly driven by the engine, there is no such thing as spool up time.[lag]
