looked in trading post this morning

found this puppy:

Datsun 1200 2 door sedan, very rare car, 99% complete, GX1200 $900

going to look at it tonight

think i know what the ca18det's going in!

i spoke to him in needs a lot of work but the rare bits are there and in good enough condition apperently

you would just have to buy it no matter what condition it was in.

Its no wagon but atleast you would be an individual!

And besides you could always use the doors to make a 2 door wagon!
But mate I still dig the 2 door sedan as it's different.And really aslong as it's a datsun it's all good!

very rare in Aus, are you sure you want to chop it up to fit an CA?

no choppin involved, except maybe putting in an auto tunnel, i considered doing a stocker but i love being individual, a 2dr sedan is very individual, but a 2dr ca18det is unheard of

just thinking, attacking thoose rear quarters to put flares on might be a bit heart wrenching but otherwise its not too bad doing the conversion

BTW the GX1200 bit is the rego number, i stupidly forgot to ask if it is a GX or just got the plates

Either way I don't think you should be upset if it isn't a real GX as you will be turning it into your own better than GX model! Plus it's a 2 door sedan!

wow $900 f*K me i cant even find one for my dad to buy thats under $1000 and the one's that are close to it are like have no interiour like all the panels on the inside are gone and have no motor and are half set up for a ca so yer i think you guys have got the poin of this reply

Does ALL 2 door 1200 Sedans have standard A12's in it? or they have someother engines as standard too? i have also seen one here so i might want to buy one if it has a better engine then a standard A12.
