Hi all,
i'm about to modify my rear springs again, at the moment i'm running reverse eye main spring and 4 springs from 120y, it axle tramps too hard, i want to run a helper spring, which way should the helper spring be attached upside down? how many springs should i run? main spring + helper spring +how many under neath main

a reverse (ie upside down) half leaf on top will help prevent axle tramp - like in the bottom pic in that diagram. bear in mind it will flatten the front part of the leaf a bit and increase spring rate slightly too.

how many other leaves you use underneath depends on what spring rate you want.

I'll see if I can find a pic of my rear leaf pack made from a combo of 1200 and 120Y leaves. it was crude (and ugly!) but very effective.

took car for a spin today, with full poly bushed rear end and helper spring on top of leaf's, first time i heard the tyres squeel, and no axle tramp, i have set the koni's to full soft. oh yippe, but the brakes are saying on after heavy braking.
