1/8 bspt [british standard pipe tapered] similar but different is bspp [british standard pipe parallel] and the US std NPT [national pipe tapered].

1/8 bspt is the one you want.

for reference

Just a word of caution with this. I've had the brass T pieces break at the end of the thread many times. It's all down to the weight of the senders at the end of the t piece & the rocking of the engine. Even the extra short one I got from a VW dealer failed in the same way. My solution was to use a braided hose from the oil sender hole out to the inner guard, where I mounted the T piece with senders in place. I just cable tied the T piece to the brake proportioning valve on the Sunny's, but there should be other things you can mount the piece off. I just took a standard sender & the T piece along to a speedway supplier at Seven Hills here in Sydney & they supplied the fitting for the oil pump & made the braided line to the length I had measured. This cost about $30 each time I did it, if I can remember correctly, cheap insurance against breaking the T piece & pumping all the oil out of it.

Wow thanks for the heads up!! Do you happen to have the name of the shop that did the braided hose for you?

Would they make up a super short piece you could literally just have 1cm out of the hole then put the t piece into?

b310gx speaks the truth. Datsun Nationals 2005 .. I think 3 different cars had their brass t-piece fail resulting in oil all over wakefield track. Definitely mount the brass fitting on the bodywork, not the engine.
