i would just like to know some options and items that people would think to be good enough for a 1200 coupe with stanza struts and a 1200 ute rear that is mainly a track car but registered still.
i would be looking a retaining 13 or 14inch wheels.
min requirments are bigger than stanza stuff, front disks and at least 2 pot calipers and i already have 240z rear vented drums do you think that they are good enough?
a brake bias ajuster would be good also as i have had trouble with sticking rear brakes. dunno what that was?
any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly apreciated

I managed to squeeze R32 front rotors and sumitomo 4 spots on stanza struts. I can still fit my 14 inch superlights over the them. Also a decent set of brake pads will make the difference. I run Ferodo DS 2500's

Ferodo DS 2500

cheers
Benny

ive got rebuilt twin piston sumitomo calipers for sale, go straight onto stanza struts with the use of larger 200b or 240k discs

wanting around$150 for the calipers, but open to close offers

early 200b discs are 253mm, about 10-15mm bigger than stanza ones, but are offset to suit the twinspots
everything is a straight bolt in

these are mine with cross drilled 200b discs, compared to standard stanza brakes

and these are boofheads with slotted 240k discs

EDIT: my calipers are also set up to use the standard stanza brake line

You did day the best stoppers didnt you??
Either the R32 GTR ones will be good, or I have Wilwood Ultralites on the front of mine massive disc and caliper AND still can get under a 14 inch rim (which keeps unsprung weight down). Expensive but this is the best option. I dont know if AP RAcing would do brakes for the datsun but youve gotta watch rim size.
Anyway on my old race car I had standard stanza GX running the alloy girlock caliper. I like them but they chewed pads out something shocking but never faded nor did the fluid boil using DOT 5. They are easy an simpleto start with and very cheap.
BTW I have a spare Wilwood bias valve you can have for a few bucks...PM me if interested.

The rotors are 280mm, custom caliper bracket mounts to std stanza caliper pick up points. I will take some pics when I can.

After a bit of research, yet another very successful option would be to use 11" vented Toyota Tarago rotors with RX7 4 pot calipers.

This is a set up that I will be doing in the next month or so for my 1200.
