CAR: 1200 ute
MOTOR: A15, mild cam (54rwkw)
GEAR BOX: 5 speed
CLUTCH: stocka
DIFF: 4.11
TURBO/SUPER CHARGER/CARBY: 32/36 DGV weber
EXHAST: Extractors into a straight through 2.5"
WHEEL/TYRE package: 185/60R14

60 foot time: 2.3
1/4 mile time: 16.9
MPH/KPH: 76mph (into 8kt headwind)

should have done a mid 16 and a few more mph without the headwind.

Will have another crack when the blower is properly sorted out- hopefully high 14's so I can keep up with those stock 120y's

First time I went out on the strip was with the car standard apart from the wheels and bog pipe (see engine bay pics :P)

Car: 75' 120y 4 Door Sedan
Motor: A12 Standard
Gearbox: 56A 4 sp
Clutch: Standard
Turbo/Super Carger/ Carby: Standard
Exhaust: Origional exhaust and muffler
Wheel/ Tyre package: 175\70R13

60 foot time: 2.656
1/4 mile time: 20.249
MPH: 64.84

Next time I went out I took everything out of the car that wasn't needed to drive me there but not over board as to remove dash and whatnot.

Car: 75' 120y 4 Door Sedan
Motor: A12 Standard
Gearbox: 56A 4 sp
Clutch: Standard
Turbo/Super Carger/ Carby: 32\36 DGV
Exhaust: A15 manifold with 1 3\4 inch pipe into lukey semi baffled dumped at diff
Wheel/ Tyre package: 175\70 R13 Front
155\something or rather 12 Rear

60 foot time: 2.592
1/4 mile time: 19.316
MPH: 68.80

And my best reaction time was down from the first time which was around 1.3 seconds to .569 seconds!! (not on that particular run though)

All in all that's what a standard vs slightly less standard, bummed out motor 120y will do down the strip. And that better run was my first for that night and I beat my friend in a KE Laser, by .03!!!!

Well done dat383! That's an exceptional time and an amazing mph number.

What do you think the car is capable of?

Matty

it still went 1.6 to sixty foot, but i was having a few problems holding it on the line to get the stall up.
it was leaving at about 2500rpm.
should be more like 4500rpm.
i hope on a good track it will run a nine,i am still running the carb out of the box,no jet changes yet and no changes to ignition timing.
on saturday it was pretty much black tracking most of the track, esp. the first third and last third of the track.
i plan to be at the tin tops in a few months so it will be a good track then, see how it goes.
