well after my ute had come home from the second mechanic (after no help in getting it running) i started it and i realised he hadnt fixed it.
i grabbed the 1/2" ratchet that was sitting on the strut tower and i threw it across the shed and it put a dent in the iron!!!

i took me a few days before i went and picked it up

I've only hit a car once. Paying for the damage I caused cured me of that affliction.

my ex misses put a boot in the rear qtr of my 1st car
After breaking my hand on a tree that was near her head i cooled down to get a quote of $1500

her excuse was u love cars more then me.....

I said its a different love.........im sorry.

This is the good part...lol...

her mom is asian and a crap driver
so i parked it where the damage is and faced the damage to the rear of the car.
Every nite she reverses the car out and never looks behind without fail cause she reverses a meter or so then goes 4ward to let her husband in.

PEOPLE she hit it 1st day i tried it...lol..
She came in and said i hit your car...
She would have just bumped it but she never seen the damage before and the misses didnt say anything cause she didnt have to pay anymore

i killed myself laughing
week later i got $1500
i spent
$7 on bog
$40 on paint.
lol.

Moral to the storey is
Try turn a negative in to a possitive.
No matter how u do it...

this is a great thread ...the war stories...Im killing myself over the stories.
Anyway I was working on my Datsun race car trying to strip a wire under the sill panel with a pair of pliers and what happened..the pliers struck me in the front tooth i had just spent hundreds of dollars on a root canal and a crown....and only had it finished 2 days previously...needles to say i was that infuriated with the datsun I hired the bloody thing out to a wannabe racer and he rolled it and killed it. I have a rather dark side.
I still have problems with this tooth and still need to have ongoing dental surgery on it.
i hate working on cars but love it too when i can zone out. dunno just cant get my thrills playing football or tennis. (would still get my teeth knocked out)

one of my mates hit himslef in the teeth with a pair of pliers too, he said it was one of the most painfull injuries he had endured, even more so than trying to pull a steel star picket out of my yard by wobbling it from side to side to side and yanking heavily until it went SNAP and hit him in the the head real, real, REAL hard! now that made a awful sound when it hit him probably one of the few injuries I have seen where I didn't laugh! I do now though!
