Hey Dim do you have a spare porsche 944 rear end there next to the others you want to sell once you make up your mind on which one to use

Ooh, I just gave away my last 944 rear end yesterday! No, I'm just kidding. I don't have any Porsche stuff, that I know of.

I was talking to a guy that does alot of track work for GTP, club cars ect and he said the commodore diff with a fully adjustable 4 link would be the way to go.

Explained it well and probaby even gave me to confidence and info to have have a go my self.

Dattodude, might have to come and checkout yours when this come close to starting... yours will prob be on road by the anyhow.

I am thinking of commodore rear, so why not commodore struts? they bolt it, just cut them down, throw a threaded sleeve on, and you have commodore stud pattern all round with excellent brake and wheel options.

(The fact i get cost holden parts helps too)

Man, I didn't know that... I would have gone for the Commodore fronts too, but I'd already done my front struts. With the Verada Gear.

The conversion for Datsun 4 stud, was quite hard. I'd stick with Commodore 5 stud, and use Commodore struts.

If I find an HSV Commodore with big Brembos I'll have to look at the commodore hubs and see if they can be converted to 4 stud.

Commodore on all four would make things sweet, i had a vl strut bolted in except the spring hit, so thats no problems.

I have been told vx struts are the go, they run a similar bolt on hub style strut like fwd cars, much stonger and no flex.

I assume you got axles made up chris? I noticed that even making the diff have two short axels its still too wide by about 100mm. Is this right?
