Hey everyone. I need some help. When I bought my car it didn't have the chrome strips which fit in the windshield and back glass rubber. I managed to obtain a set. I had to take out the front windscreen so I put them in when it was out.

But I need some tips on getting the ones into the rear windshield rubber without having to take the whole glass out. I tired pushing them in but they only go about halfway then it becomes impossible to move them any further. Any way to get them in?

Oh the car is a B310

My understanding is when you push/install the rubber mould in it holds the strip in place.
There is a Rubber supplier on the net for datto's when you do a search under datsun 1200, it will be on the first page. Give them a tingle and ask the pro's
Good luck.

Every one I have done I have removed the glass. Like you did the front.
