Mmmm, mentally ill, I don't think, but there does seem to be a few people on here of late, that's always causing some kind of crap. If everyone would just work together, and ignore them, they would quickly go away.
Also a site may be on the net for years, and "nobody" would know about it, and then all of a sudden it would become well known or popular, and then this kind of thing happens. I suspect this might be a bit of what we are experiencing. I've seen scores of new names on here in the past few months, even a lot of ones from ZA.
It makes me happy, because we will be reserving more datto's this way. But a side effect is to have to deal with unpleasantnesses sometimes. We'll just have to hang on and ride it out, because in the end we'll have double the quality members we used to have.
Which is another thing, many of the long standing members have been very quiet lately. I've been wondering about this, are they just busy, or have they moved on or what? Having them come back here, and giving informed advice and/or comments would help tame these wild ones a lot.
Anyhow, I still enjoy coming to this site more than any other, and will continue to do so for many more years. I owe the datto culture at least one pure datto, to make up for this frankenstein thing I built...
