Yeah i have also wondered about this.. most of the utes i have seen wit harnesses have been fitted with a roll cage..does anyone kno if there any way of bolting them to the floor behind the seats reinforced with some hefty flat??

i think they have to be on an angle no greater than 45 degrees to the floor....so you would have to have it bolted down in the tray if you arent having a rollcage

The harness needs to be attached to rollcage directly behind the seat. It cannot be attached on any more than 45degree angle?? You think if its staight down and you have a crash the seatbelt is going to squish you down and compact your spine. This is the only way i have seen it done for a rally 1200 ute. The harness will have to pass through the rear steel section. there wouldnt be any room to have a rollcage inside the cabin .
Cheers Andrew

I run my harnesses straight to to rear panel behind the seat, and then it is bolted through into the large ally section that my hard top attaches too.
