#11 Re: Wanted, lower back panel for sedan in adelaide.

Sounds good mate.

If you run an under-dash bar then I dont think you need the cross braced side intrusion bars, you can just have a single one down near the sill. This is my plan so it can be semi-legal.

How far does the front hoop legs intrude into the door space if you dont cut the dash? I have bit the bullet and decided mine needs to be cut (dont worry its a stuffed one Chris).

Are you going to use carpet or paint the floor white?

want some more questions haha?

I have one from a sunny sedan you can have for nothing, but it would have to be couriered at your cost.

so what happened to yours?

i'll have a look at the coupe, and maybe even my spare sedan

postage would still be kinda hard

I investigated a foot long bog crack which revealed no metal underneith so we cut it off, replaced the rail but stuck to find another panel intact.

I know maximum length for aussie post is 105cm, I reckon it will be over that, I wonder how much to courier.

i know it's not the greatest but if you are going to be welding it in and you are sounding pretty desperate for one ... cut the replacement in half and it'll fit in the post no problems a little extra work but if its straight and rust free it could be worth the little extra work ??

theres a sedan i know of ... actually 2 i know of i can have a look at for you as well

Cheers guys, as boof said cut it in half and I'll weld it up.

coupe one is different, bents different

couldnt just bend one up yourself?

and no need to cut it in half, its not hard to find a courier that will take it....ive sent whole bumpers without problems

would obviously cost a bit more though

I could bend one myself if I had the resources I did a month ago, cars back at my shed now, any luck with the one off your sedan? I had a real good look on the weekend but the two wreckers I went to dont want to cut them off until the shell is fully stripped.

Cheers
