Ahh yes the poor old datto will be moving to a new home. At least she is staying in the datsun 1200.com family
Im sure Harry will enjoy the coupe and put down some mega quick times. I wish him luck im sure he will drive it like it was built for
She will be missed although I am looking forward to cruising in the GTR.
Dont worry I havnt given up on 1200's I will hopefully be doing another 1200 soon not big hp turbo power but maybe a potent A series if all goes to plan.

So Harry when will we see the coupe at Mt Cotton?

I remember reading that you made the trip out to Morgan ark one day only for the event to be cancelled. The same thing has happened to me this week. Do you remember the name of the guy who organised the day you went to? Was it Tom/BarM3?

Will you have the thing in time for Pittsworth Harry? I think Matty and his brother are going,i should have 3 Datto's attending,theres Cameron and a few others and i'd love to see Steve Drahiem get some more competition.It really is a great camping weekend with 8-10 runs normally Cheers Bert

yeah, we're doing the swap this weekend. I want to get out to Morgan Park to spend some time behind the wheel and get a good feel for the car before I do any street sprints or hillclimbs, but I'll look into Pittsworth for sure. Very interested to run against Steve and Cam's 1200's and Mark's GTR

Hey wasnt this a post about a 120y LOL ,thanks too harry and andrew for doing the deal with the cars ....I may have ended up with the 120y coupe .May build a track car yet and start off doing a day or 2 out at queensland race way for a bit of fun with freak when his 1200 finished..........
