I'm currently building a 1200 sedan drag/hillclimb/road car. It'll have a ca18det pushing 250-300rwkw. hoping to eventually do 10 sec quarter. Wondering what manual gearbox to use cause i'm guessing the ca18 5 speed wont hold up??

2 1200's where into 10s with the CA box, apparently you can use a RB20 box and use the CA bellhousing i read that they are stronger, can anyone else confirm this? what diff are you going to run?

I have seen a few CA18 Datto's with CA20 Box's. Not sure about the RB20 (sounds Good but).

If you want one that won't bust go a Supra box. But that will require a custom bellhousing and a rather large tunnel!!

I've also heard of the RB20 one being used with the CA bellhousing
