Soooooooo , I'm thinking your cameraman barfed as soon as you got back to the pits.

Looks like you had a blast.

One thing I did notice in the turn 8/9 complex (I think that's the 90 left 90 right section just after you turn off the back stretch) is the car is very unhappy slammin over the curbs..........seems like it's hoping like a pogo stick and skating across the road............you had that Mini right until then and that's why he slipped back in front of you. Of course without the on board news guy the car might be fine on the curbs.

I also notice you looked pretty good on the brakes.............in fact I could have sworn the camera was looking for the brake pedal on his side of the car a lot sooner then you were :)

Looks like a great time.............go 1200 go!!!

Tom

he he por acaso estive la no Estoril no dia da formula Nissan, ainda nem se falava do Tiago Monteiro..VG30 400cv he he.

The mini pass me because this is not a race and i dont want to smash my 1200...loool
My camera men weights 70 kg and more 85 kg from me loool.. but the 1200 brakes harder and yes......my cameramen in the first turns was loking for the brakes.

In the end we met the mini driver...nice guy

In the other video its a Smart four two with an 1.0 liter motorcicle engine...its a monster...

too funny , I thought your camera man was living on a 40,000 calorie diet...........even in the video you could tell the car was handling quite differant left to right..............good fun making you buddy squirm more than the front end of the car under braking.

As for motorcycle powered cars they do rip , I had a Yamaha powered single seater for a while............nothing like a 900lb 160HP car on slicks to ruin Viper & Porsche driver's day.

I love F3000 cars...............on the 2 Kilometer 7 turn short course at our track an F3000 / Indy lites car ran 56 flat , I did 1:09 in the yamaha powered single seater , Formula Ford lap record was 1:13 head driving instructor in a race prepped Calloway Corvette did 1:13................I was so proud running a 1:09 which was the outright course record at the time............then ye olde F3000 showed up, nothing like big downforce. Our car pulled 2G's in a corner and 3G's on the brakes and it is just so mind blowing that something could go 13 seconds a lap faster!!!

Keep up the fun.

Tom
